About Kasper Købke

Kasper Købke; a Danish award-winning and renowned artist that draws extremely photo realistic and large-scale Art Drawings.

Købke received the Hans Christian Andersen Award 2017 and the Klods Hans Award 2016 for his Hans Christian Andersen Fairytale Book, where he has implemented around 1.000 references about for example Andersen's life, work and own time through Købke's 67 meticulous Art Drawings

The book is published in 8 languages.

Købke was awarded Art Talent 2010 in Denmark. He has held a solo exhibition at Art Copenhagen and have created Art Drawings which is located in Switzerland, Norway, The Nederlands and Washington DC among others.

Købke's contribution to the Elephant Parade 2011 was auctioned off in the top 5 of the 103 Art Elephants. The same year the documentary movie Drawings from the Desert was part of the LIVING exhibition at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. The documentary follows Købke's challenging drawing process at Burning Man Festival i the desert of Nevada (USA) (see the trailer below).
